Cranberry - Pear Oatmeal / Porridge

Nice creamy fruity porridge

or1/4 cup of oats (39 g)
or250 grams of water, bottled
or1/2 tsp of salt, table (3 g)
or1/8 cup of cranberries, dried, sweetened (20 g)
or125 grams of milk, skimmed, UHTor125 grams of beverages, almond milk, unsweetened, shelf stable
or1 medium unit of pears, raw (178 g)
or5 grams of seeds, chia seeds, dried
Bring water to boil in large saucepan. Stir in oats, cranberries, chia seeds and salt. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until most of water is absorbed and grains are tender but still chewy, about 13 minutes. Add milk last
Peel and slice the pear and add it on top of the oatmeal before eating
This cereal reheats well in the microwave, so it's a good choice to have on hand for mornings when time is limited. Add a few tablespoons of water to each serving when reheating.
